  • What is your turnaround time for book covers and formatting?
    I normally say from 3 days to a week and a half. However, this depends on the package you pick, when I schedule you and how we do during our brainstorming phase.
  • What is your turnaround time for swag designs, teasers, etc. ?"
    This really does depend on if you scheduled in advance or not. If you asking me at the last minute and my schedule is light then I can fit you in and be done in about three days.
  • When should I book you?
    To be safe, I always say at least 2 months in advance. You can book as far in advance as you like. I do have openings sometimes and as long as I do not have someone on my “waiting list” I will do my absolute best to accommodate.
  • Do I need to leave a deposit to place a booking?
    In general, no. But there are some exceptions if the project is large and is going to take significant amount time. I may then ask a for non-refundable deposit.
  • Do you have a wait list I can get on?
    Yes, if you need a cover or formatting for certain time and I do not have availability I can put your name down if anyone cancels and notify you.
  • Can I cancel an appointment with you?
    Yes, you can. As long as we haven’t started working on the cover. But I would prefer it if you would let me know in advance so I can give away the dates.
  • Is there a genre you don’t design?
    I think my best answer to that would be fantasy/dystopian/ horror. Though “don’t” is not completely true, cause it would mean I do not want to do it when honestly no one has ever asked me to design one so I really have no idea if I could.
  • If I already started work on the cover but want to cancel it, can I?"
    Yes, absolutely! But I would charge $30 – $100 for the work I’ve done so far.
  • What can I do with the cover?
    You can use it for any promotional purpose as long as no one takes the credit for the cover design and you don’t directly change the cover (like the colours, or change the font of the text, etc), you can use it however you want.
  • Can I make changes on a finalized cover?
    Yes absolutely! If they are minor changes then they are free but any major cover changes, anything that changes the finalized design dramatically, would incur a charge anywhere between $30 – $150.
  • How do I submit my manuscript files?
    All manuscripts can be either emailed [] or placed into a Dropbox or Google Drive folder that you will provide link to.Your manuscript should also be submitted in a unformatted Word document with the exception of scene breaks (please mark with # or *), chapter headings, and indents. Please keep all bold and italicized text as is. If you are sending images you would like included in your manuscript please make sure they are 300 dpi or higher.
  • When do I need to have my manuscript to you?
    I prefer that you have a fully edited copy to me at least a week in advance of your booking date but I also know that schedules and deadlines do not always allow for this so just let me know and I am always willing to work with you.
  • Do I receive and ARC/Review Copy of my manuscript when ordering an eBook design?
    Yes, you can. Please request it at time of booking. It is free of charge.
  • Can I have my manuscript earlier than my scheduled book date?
    Yes, but only if my schedule allows. If I must move around or push another client's job then there will be a $30 additional charge.
